About WAMA
Overview
The Washington Airport Management Association was created in 1970
to foster professionalism among airport operators in the State of
Washington. Our mission is to improve airports and airport
management in Washington State.
Membership in WAMA is available to anyone involved in aviation and
is a wise investment for Washington airports and airport and
aviation industry personnel. We offer ideas to keep you up to date
on industry issues and provide a state-wide networking base to help
you solve problems facing aviation professionals every day.
We build relationships between members, industry professionals, and
state and federal government representatives to promote effective
airport management. Our goals are to:
- Link airports in Washington state to achieve their common interests
- Identify and address problems and opportunities
- Support members locally to benefit aviation
- Promote educational opportunities for development of airport
management and staff
- Review and refine industry procedures and regulations
Members address issues and share ideas by attending our annual
spring and fall conferences, serving on the
WAMA board and by participating on our
committees. For more information,
please explore this website or contact a member of the WAMA
board or one of our
executive officers.
