WAMA Member Resources

This section of the web site provides material intended to assist members in a variety of ways. Resources include the following:

Airport News & Activities: We have provided an area on the WAMA website for member airports to list news items and special events/activities that they would like to promote to the membership.

Aviation Education Program/Scholarships: The purpose of the WAMA Aviation Education Program is to leverage WAMA funds to enhance opportunities for aviation education in the state. WAMA has created a program to support individuals interested in pursuing a career in aviation through scholarship and internship programs, to support continuing education of WAMA members and to reach out to the broader community.

Committees: WAMA's committees have been formed to carry out the general duties as noted under the direction of a Committee Chairman who is appointed by the current President. All committees will coordinate their activities with the Executive Director.

Equipment-Bay: This section of the site is where members who have surplus equipment or usable supplies can make them available to other members, or where members who need material can let others know of that need. And remember, WAMA is only the facilitator of this process. Any deal struck is strictly between the two parties to the deal.

Job Opportunities: A page where members can publicize their personnel searches. It includes links to similar sites maintained by other organizations. Again, a form is provided for electronic submittal of the information.

Links: A list of links to sites that provide information expected to be of use or interest to members. The links are in a number of categories, listed on the left navigation bar. A “suggest a link” facility is provided so that you can help develop the list.

Procurement: The purpose of this page is to provide another place at which member airports can advertise their solicitations for consulting services, construction, and acquisition of equipment and supplies. Users of the WAMA web site, in addition to WAMA management members, are associate members and others who are potential respondents to your solicitations.

REMEMBER – Resources will only be as useful as you make them! We will publish the information, but it comes from you–our members. Please think about what you have that would be helpful to other members. You may use the convenient submittal forms provided in the links above.
