Airports to Join Food Drive

October 26, 2020 12:33 PM | SE (Administrator)

The Fly Washington Passport Program has issued a challenge to airports to encourage activity at the airport and to help the community at the same time.  Airports can participate in a food drive with the help of pilots to collect nonperishable goods to be distributed to local food banks.  When pilots land or drive into one of the participating airports, they are encouraged to drop off food items.  The items will be collected and delivered to local food centers.  The campaign runs until November 20, 2020. Airports participating in the campaign are: Chehalis, Auburn, Olympia, Arlington, Harvey Field, Wenatchee, Port Angeles, Norman Greer, Sequim Valley Airport, and Anacortes.
