Washington Airport Managers Association (WAMA)

About WAMA

The mission of Washington Airport Management Association is to strengthen airport and airport management in Washington State by fostering professionalism among airport operators. We are a non-profit organization created in 1970 in the State of Washington.

Membership in WAMA is available to anyone involved in aviation and is a wise investment for Washington airports and airport and aviation industry personnel. We offer ideas to keep you up to date on industry issues and provide a state-wide networking base to help you solve problems facing aviation professionals every day.

We build relationships between members, industry professionals, and state and federal government representatives to promote effective airport management. Our goals are to:

  • Link airports in Washington state to achieve their common interests
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities
  • Support members locally to benefit aviation
  • Promote educational opportunities for development of airport management and staff
  • Review and refine industry procedures and regulations

Members address issues and share ideas by attending our annual spring conference, serving on the WAMA board and by participating on our committees. For more information, please explore this website or contact a member of the WAMA board or one of our executive officers
