Scholarships & Grants

FOr WAMA members & Students

The WAMA Board is pleased to provide scholarship and grant opportunities to further the education of airport professionals, undergraduates in aviation management, and airport internship programs. We also aim to encourage community aviation education.

Member airports may apply for these scholarship and grant opportunities, and may contact their local high schools and community organizations to let students and members of the public know about the career and community education opportunities through WAMA.

The Thomas Eller Memorial Scholarship:
One scholarship awarded annually to students in aviation management or related undergraduate programs. Click here for application information

WAMA Conference Attendance Grant:
For students pursuing a career in Airport Management. Click here for application information.

Professional Development:
For airport personnel wishing to expand their academic knowledge in Airport Management. Click here for application information.

Community Aviation Education Grant:

OUTSIDE SCHOLARSHIPS

NWAAE:
Scholarships are now being offered by NWAAE to students who are pursuing degrees in aviation. Application deadlines vary throughout the year. For more information, visit https://www.nwaaae.org/page/Scholarships

NASAO:
Do you know of an incoming college junior or senior in the aviation or aerospace program? The National Association of State Aviation Officials’ (NASAO) “Henry O.” Scholarship program awards scholarships to students continuing their education in the aviation or aerospace industries. Applicants need to be an incoming junior or senior college student and maintain a minimum major GPA of 3.0.
