About the Conference: Presented in partnership with the Airports Council International – North America (ACI–NA), this conference will address the latest topics in airport noise management, as well as other topics, such as mitigation, research updates, and community engagement.

Aviation stakeholders, including airport operators, federal government policymakers, and airlines have invested  decades of work in mitigating and managing the impacts of aircraft noise through noise abatement procedures, sound insulation programs, land acquisition, other mitigation measures, FAA and ICAO regulations, and impressive advances in airframe and engine technology resulting in quieter planes.

Targeted to the airport industry practitioner, this conference brings together industry partners including representatives from the FAA, airports, consultants, researchers, airlines, and manufacturers to share their collective knowledge, experience, and lessons learned. Join your colleagues to discuss these important issues and latest developments in the area of aircraft noise management!

This conference is open to AAAE and ACI-NA members, invited guests, and government partners. Invited guests are individuals and organizations that work with and support airports, including industry partners, service providers, and consultants. Location: The conference will be held in Missoula at the Holiday Inn Downtown.  The hotel has a gracious, park-like setting along the Clark Fork River in the Heart of Downtown Missoula.  It is just steps from vibrant shopping, dining, live-music, outdoor recreation, festivals, farmer’s markets, the historic Wilma Theater, The University of Montana and much more!

The Missoula Airport is served by five year-round airlines that offer nonstop flights to thirteen major U.S. markets.  

Lodging: The deadline to reserve rooms under our pre-arranged room blocks has passed, attendees can make reservations at a hotel of their choosing.  

Schedule: Conference events begin Monday, September 21st with an evening reception and conclude late afternoon on Thursday, September 24th.  A more detailed schedule of events and conference agenda can be found HERE.
